The main feature of the Bachelor study program Production Technologies and Production Management is that the graduates of this program acquire knowledge with respect to basic natural sciences, technical and technological disciplines, the basics of economics and management, as well as knowledge from the fundamentals of informatics. This knowledge combains with the study of profiling subjects, especially from the issues of manufacturing technologies, management of pre-production stages and production management, metrology and quality management, with emphasis on practical skills. English language, the humanities and physical education are part of the study.
The curriculum of the study program is based on the present scientific knowledge and is a good basis for continuing the Master degree study. If the graduate does not continue to study at the second stage, she/he has sufficient knowledge and skills, which can be applied in the fields of engineering preparation of production, planning and management of the production process, and product quality assessment.
After completing the first stage of the study the graduate will be able to continue the second stage of the study or to enter the job market. Due to professional skills, she/he will find application as a technologist or a section manager in the technological preparation of production and in industrial production enterprises. The complexity of the tasks that each graduate is able to solve individually is in line with the degree of study and the graduate profile.
