On Monday the 25th of January 2010 the following people from the BBC visited the FMST SUT : Kevin Reide from BBC Midlands Today and Russell Joslin who is a Digital radio correspondent from Coventry and Warwickshire.
The aim of the visit was to make a report about the influence of the automobile industry's support of education and development in the region of Trnava.
Management from the FMST SUT were present at this meeting : Vice Dean - Associate Professor Ing. František Horňák, PhD., from the UPMK (Department of Industrial engineering, Management and Quality )- Dagmar Cagáňová, MSc, PhD. (Project Manager of the AUTOCLUSTERS), Ing. Miriam Šefčíková, PhD. and from the UVTE (Institute of Manufacturing Technologies) - Ing. Jozef Bárta. The Director of the Automotive cluster in West Slovakia - Ing. Štefan Chudoba and from the Town of Trnava the Director of the Mayor's office - Ing. Pavol Tomašovič, were also present.
A visit to the light machining laboratories and the Centre of Excellence - 5 Axis Machining was made in addition to the talks that took place at Z pavilion on Paulinska Street.
