On the 29th April 2013, the Rector of the STU Prof. Robert Redhammer had a visit from Egypt, those visiting were: Ahmed Khairy - President of the Egyptian-Japanese University for Science and Technology, Prof. Roushdy Zahran - Vice President of Alexandria University, Prof. Ekram Fateen -deputy director of the National Research Centre in Cairo and Prof. Abu - Youssef Morsy - Attaché in Vienna. The Egyptian delegation was received at the MTF STU by the Vice- Dean of the Faculty - Prof. Grgac together with doc. M. Behulová, doc. M. Kusy, Dr. Morovič and other faculty members.
The main objective of the Egyptian visit was to get acquainted with the technical equipment of the Centers of Excellence of our faculty and to discuss possibilities of cooperation in science, technology and education. After a visit to the laboratories in the Centers of Excellence, our guests expressed interest in cooperation with the MTF STU in research and education.
