His Magnificency, Rector of the STU, Robert Redhammer, gave a high appreciation of the Slovak University of Technology’s "Professor of the year 2012"- Professor Velíšek, Director of the Institute of Production Systems and Applied Mechanics at the MTF STU, for his many years of activity in the field of international cooperation and success in gaining grants. In 2011 Professor Velíšek was awarded an honorary degree of Prof.hc of the Technical University Kluž-Napoca/Romania. He was awarded the decree on the 13.12.2012 by the Dean of the faculty in the presence of the 1st Vice dean - Professor Peterka.
