The MTF STU welcomed a delegation from the Gomel State University of Francisk Skorina – Rector Prof. Ing. Alexander Rogacev, DrSc., who is also a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Vice Rector for pedagogy doc. Ing. Sergej Chachomov, CSc. Gomel State University is one of the leading universities in Belarus, which has a long and successful cooperation with foreign partners, such as with academic institutions in China, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan etc. Currently there are 270 foreign students studying from China, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Yemen, etc.
The delegation was welcomed at the MTF STU by the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Moravcik, Vice-dean Grgac and Prof. Caus. The co-part of the program for foreign guests were debates with the Vice-Rector of the STU doc. Hornak and a signing of an agreement of mutual cooperation, a visit to the Institute of Production Technologies and the Institute of Materials’ laboratories, visits to the MTF’s Centres of Excellence and finally negotiations on further cooperation in research projects in the area of student mobility.
