Today, on the 17th of February
2010, we opened a technology museum in T pavilion (Bottova Street.) to mark the occasion of the
100th anniversary of the birth of the academician Jozef Čabelka.
The following people attended the opening ceremony of the SUT:
Vice Rector- Prof. Ing. Dusan Petras,
PhD., the Director of ‘First Welding a.s. Bratislava - Ing Peter
Fodrek PhD.,valued guests, staff and students from the FMST
SUT.
After
the initial presentation of a document from Associate Prof. Ing. Milan Marônk,
PhD., called "Poetry
welding" a solemn laudatio from
the academician Čabelka was presented by
Prof. Ing. Turňa Milan, PhD.
The faculty of Materials Science and Technology from the SUT
recalled the traditions of technologies and materials with the opening of the museum, as pointed out
in a short speech by the Vice Dean - Prof. Ing. Peter Grgač, PhD.- for scientific
research activities at the FMST SUT.
The Technological Museum is at the beginning of its construction and is an excellent basis for the acquisition of collections.
The event was moderated by the director of the Institute of Production Technologies from the FMST SUT. Prof. Ing. Koloman Ulrich, PhD. who accompanied the participants that were involved throughout the course of events.
