On 12 September 2008, prof. Petru Berce, PhD., dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (the Technical University Cluj-Napoca in Romania) and prof. Dr. Dr.h.c. Ing. Gyenge Csaba from the Institute of Production Engineering (from the same Faculty) visited MTF STU. Faculty´s vice-dean prof. Ing. Peter Grgač, CSc. on behalf of the dean prof. Dr.-Ing.Oliver Moravčík hosted the foreign guests. The representatives of the Institute of Production Technologies - director of the Institute prof. Ing. Karol Velíšek, CSc. and deputy director doc. Ing. Peter Košťál, PhD. - took part in the negotiations. Result of the negotiations is an agreement on broadening and development within the co-operation between MTF STU and SjF TU in Cluj over the next period of time.
