COS Scholar Universe provides access to contacts of more than 2.2 million active researchers from all disciplines and 2210 universities in 75 countries worldwide (status on the 30th of September 2009). COS Scholar Universe provides verified information about the scientific community, research projects, publications, research methodologies and the possibilities for established cooperation. The employees and students of universities can get the contacts to a worldwide scientific community through COS Scholar Universe.
Approximately 400 000 profiles were added directly by individual researchers and over 1.6 million records were obtained from the websites of individual institutions. Each record is edited by Refworks-COS and is regularly updated. The profile of each scientist contains links to biographical and professional information, contact information, a list of collaborators and bibliographic records and abstracts of the publications prepared in the databases of the CSA Illumina platform.For more information and ways of working in the database please visit id = 4162 on the website of the STU.
