From the 7th to the 9th of April 2010 an annual meeting of the action
COST MP0602 "Advanced Solder Materials for High Temperature Applications"
(http://mi.mtf.stuba.sk/cost ) took place in the premises of the Slovak Academy
of Sciences, Patrónka in Bratislava
with the participation of employees. Our Faculty, as an involved institution
organized this event together with the physics institute SAV and the Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics SAv. Approximately
70 participants from 16 European countries participated during this event. Research teams from UMAT and UVTE presented
in this meeting the results they recently achieved during their time spent studying
lead-free solders based on Sn-Ce.
