On the 11. 5.2009 in the congress hall Doprastav which was held in Bratislava, a scientific meeting of the Association of Slovak science by the name of "FORUM ZSVTS 2009" took place and was attended by approximately 80 participants. These represented various unions, including guests from the Czech partner organization. The theme of the meeting was to assess what is in the area of global trends, what they contribute to the individual company and how close they are to fulfilling the vision of Slovakia by 2030.
FORUM was awarding Union Awards to staff of our MTF STU Faculty. Gold Medal ZSVTS was received by Prof. Ing. Pavel Blaškovitš, DrSc. For assessing situations in the field of welding. Tribogy and tribotechnic . A silver medal was received by Ing. Stefan Svetsky, for assessing the area of surface treatments and anti-rust protection. The honorary award for recognition ZSVTS was given to one of our younger workers Ing. Erika Hodúlova, PhD. for her activity in the ranking of professional events.
