On the 13th of April 2012 on the premises of the MTF STU in Bratislava with residence in Trnava (pavilion "T", Meeting Room T202) a celebratory meeting of employees and guests of the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Management and Quality (UPMK) took place. The aim of the meeting was to commemorate the jubilee of the formation and results of activities of the department of the Mechanical Industry of the Faculty of Economical Engineering, SVST Bratislava, whose successor is UPMK and the life jubilee of Prof. Ing. Alexander Linczény, CSc. The meeting was opened by doc. Ing. Milos Cambel, CSc., Director of UPMK, where employees and guests of UPMK were welcomed. The following people were present - doc. Ing. Frantisek Hornak, PhD., Vice-rector for Education of the STU in Bratislava; Prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravcik, Dean of MTF STU in Bratislava with its residence in Trnava; Prof. Dr. Ing. Jozef Peterka, vice-dean for development of the MTF STU in Bratislava with its residence in Trnava; doc. Ing. Pavol Molna, CSc. and especially the person that had a jubilee- Prof. Ing. Alexander Linczeny,CSc. After a greeting made by Prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravchick, the most important mile stones in the departments’ development and the most important results of its activities were mentioned by Prof Ing. Alexander Linczeny,CSc. The meeting was finished with a laudation made by Prof. Ing. Jozef Sablik, CSc. to the jubilee. The end of the whole event had a pleasant atmosphere.
