On Wednesday, 14.12.2011, a Colloquium on the occasion of the life anniversary of Prof. Ing. Ivan Hrivňák, DrSc., took place at the MTF STU. This pleasant social event was linked with the launch of the textbook "materialography". Its authors are professors Dasa and Ivan Hrivňák. Best wishes to your 80th anniversary and successe to the publication were wished by previous colleges and friends from the following partner institutions: VÚZ-PI Bratislava, VUJE Trnava, TU Košice, SAV Bratislava, ŽU Žilina, UMV SAV Košice, US Steel Košice a SES Tlmače. The event raised compositions for cello soloists . After the opening ceremony of the event and greeted guests, a biography of Prof. Hrivňák, professional lecture, greeting speeches and textbook "materialography", there followed autographing by both authors.
