On the 19th to the 21st of October 2011 the third annual international scientific conference of TEAM 2011 took place in collaboration with the TEAM Society and the seventeenth annual Scientific Conference CO-MAT-TECH. There was more than 100 participants, with almost half of the lecturers from abroad. The management of the TEAM Society expressed delight over the fact that almost half of their contributors were PhD students and their factual content was high.
Consequently with the conference, the annual meeting of the Team Society took place to which the management of our faculty were invited and the STU MTF was approved as a member of the TEAM Society. The TEAM Society president Prof. Antun Stoic also gave a decree of adoption of the MTF STU as a member of the TEAM Society to the Vice-Dean Prof. Jozef Peterka. This opens the door for students and educators alike to travel to placements with partner institutions in Croatia and Hungary. The future plans of the TEAM Society were discussed.
