The major reconstruction and modernization of the IT infrastructure on the MTF STU’s campus of Bottova Street, in the pavilion of Heavy laboratories is beginning to install a new mobile data centre that will serve as another data centre for the faculty. The container protects stored data with a built-in security system and over the coming months will be supplemented by a high-performance server and fast data storage. This solution is unique in the academic environment and has been implemented in Slovakia by the EU Structural Funds.
