On the 10th of June 2011, the Hall of the Centre of Excellence 5-axis machining held a demonstrations of the new thermal device for thermal clamping of tools from the company Haimer. Employees of the company showed practical examples of clamping tools with different diameters whilst clarifying the correct parameters for thermal clamping. Part of the presentation was devoted to a new generation of instruments such as clamps for machining performance, as well as for high speed machining. Demonstrations were attended by doctoral students and staff of the UVTE-COM.
