Yesterday's
meeting opened on Thursday with three tracks
by a young artist from Trnava's elementary art school, student Lukas Harant,
led by teacher Mgr.
Marta Čeledová.
After welcoming those
present, Vice-Dean prof. Dr. Ing. Jozef Peterka introduced the guest
of the afternoon, RNDr.
Jozef Brestovsky, an expert in the field against mosquitoes and
ticks. The topic of the lecture was
these two small creatures, their way of
life, their food and
an effective protection against them.
The discussion was rich because during this time
there are many mosquitoes and ticks in our neighbourhood. Many questions were raised by the audience
during the discussion.
The lecturer RNDr. Brestovsky is the co-author
of the book called Dobrý revír, which the participants could
buy at the end of lecture along with
an autograph from the author.
The Sixteenth Thursday afternoon was the last
in the summer semester, but as was said by the moderator
of the meeting- Ing. Milan
Petras, PhD., meetings
with personalities in social and economic life
at the MTF STU will
continue again at
the beginning of the winter semester.
