In the indoor swimming pool of the MTF STU on the 10th and 11th of March 2012 the 38th annual international swimming competition took place. This is the most important swimming competition in Slovakia, with the participation of 360 swimmers from 31 swimming clubs and troops greeted the President of the Trnava Region Ing. Tibor Mikus and the Mayor of Trnava Ing. Vladimir Butko. The swimming was opened by the MTF’s Vice Dean - Prof. Dr. Ing. Jozef Peterka. There were top competitors from Hungary, Czech Republic and France and Slovakia which were supported by the head of the lecture’s Cabinet of the MTF- Ing. Milan Petras, PhD., the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sport LEKA doc. Paed Dr Marian Merica, PhD., doc. Ing. Milan Turna, PhD. and other employees of the MTF. The main organizer – Lecturers Cabinet of the MTF STU and swimming club ASK STU Trnava welcomed guests to their home swimming pool. From home there were the following representatives: Zuzana Mimovicoa and Miroslava Syllabova, - best swimmer of SR in 2012. Thanks to the leadership of the MTF STU, representatives of the Town of Trnava, TTSK and all those who supported the organizing and sponsorship of this wonderful sporting event.
