According to § 84
section 5, Law No. 131/2002 (from the collection of laws) about higher education within the amendments of
certain laws, after the results of the Accreditation Commission the Minister of
Education of the Slovak Republic gave the Faculty of Materials Science at the
Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava the right to award academic
degrees to graduates from study
programs in the relevant fields of study.
