On 14th of September 2011, the Executive Vice president for Industrial Coatings and Chief Executive Officer of Bekaert, Dr. Dominique Neerinck has visited the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava. The guest was hosted by the dean of the faculty prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravčík. During conversation, both representatives have discussed issues of future cooperation and aims of partial projects in area of corrosion and materials strength. Institute of Materials Science was represented by the director of the institute prof. Ing. Jozef Janovec, DrSc., and Assoc.-prof. Martin Kusý, PhD.
In second part of the agenda, the quest was invited to visit centers of excellence for materials diagnostics and 5-axes machining.
