Dear colleagues and students,
Regarding the information sent by STU Management on 25 February 2020 to all STU employees and students, and by subsequent information sent by STU MTF Management on 28 February 2020 to MTF STU employees and students and the students accommodated at MTF STU Hostel of M. Uher as well as in compliance with the current situation of the Coronavirus Disease spread in the world, the STU MTF Management accepted the following measures and recommendations:
- Immediately ensure an increased hygienic standard within the STU MTF premises (individual disinfection, collective disinfection in widely exposed premises, and disinfection of surfaces and common areas).
- To minimise the possible danger of the disease spread, preliminarily, starting from 4 March to 31 March 2020 no foreign business trips will be approved – therefore, we ask all interested to try and postpone their planned activities, or possibly change the format of their execution (videoconference, etc.). In case of planning foreign business trips for the forthcoming period, it is similarly recommended to minimise potential damages by selecting a suitable travel insurance, flight tickets, train tickets or accommodation with the possibility of cancellation, etc.
- Starting from 4 March 2020 all payments of conference fees with active participation are preliminarily stopped.
- Preliminarily, starting from 4 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 no foreign visitors will be accepted at STU MTF (including planned negotiations, mobility, internships, etc.).
- Preliminarily, starting from 4 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 no new guests will be accommodated at the STU MTF Hostel of M. Uher.
- In case that in spite of these measures, the STU MTF employee or student or a person accommodated at STU MTF Hostel of M. Uher travels or returns from their current stay abroad, particularly from the countries with Coronavirus Disease occurrence (the list countries is constantly updated and published at: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6), it is necessary:
- so that the STU MTF employee contacted his/her superior to consider and authorise the time being off work with the refund of wages (or approve a regular holiday leave) for 14 days due to his/her home quarantine. At the same time, the employee sends electronically an announcement (or a similar document referring about the country, place and time period of his/her foreign stay to the Section of Safety, Health and Environment (maria.otajovicova@stuba.sk). In the course of these 14 days the employees are recommended to check their health condition and in case of respiratory difficulties occurrence immediately contact their attending physician via phone and inform him/her about their travel anamneses.
- so that the MTF STU student electronically contacts his/her teachers and agrees the way of his/her study duties replacement during the 14 days of their study leave and stay in a preventive home quarantine. In the course of these 14 days the students are recommended to check their health conditions and in case of respiratory difficulties occurrence immediately contact their attending physician via phone and inform him/her about their travel anamneses.
- so that the person accommodated at the STU MTF Hostel of M. Uher electronically contacts the Head of the STU MTF Canteen and Hostel (radovan.siroky@stuba.sk) and stay in a preventive home quarantine for 14 days. In the course of these 14 days the persons accommodated at the STU MTF Hostel of M. Uher are recommended to check their health conditions and in case of respiratory difficulties occurrence immediately contact their attending physician via phone and inform him/her about their travel anamneses.
