We would like to invite you to the first topic of lecture blocks: Intellectual Property -possibilities at MTF STU in the frame of the project Knowledge for Faculty for Industrial Practice.
The lecture will contain the following information:
- Service connected with identification and protection of valuable intellectual property at STU
- Consultation connected with the protection of intellectual property
- Registration at the Office of Industrial Property of SR
- Registration and report of intellectual property of STU

There are four lecture blocks in frame of the project activities for the project target group – PhD students and researchers. However, everybody who is interested in the topics is invited.
Motto of lectures: “Every investment into education is a correctly orientated investment. It evaluates the gained knowledge, it shows the development trends, it transfers knowledge and it forms the recipient personality“.
The aim of the lecture blocks in four topics:
- 1. topic: to introduce the basic terms of intellectual property, issues of protection of industrial rights, the latest regulations in this sphere at STU, conditions of patenting and use of patent utilization;
- 2. topic: navigation in electronic sources bought as a part of the project, introduction to the ways of searching and verification of discovered information for the research work, learning of basic methods for use of electronic information sources;
- 3. topic: use of the multimedia environment by a presentation creation, learning of presentation techniques, basic information on presenting and rhetoric in presenting;
- 4. topic: methodology of science, application of standards in research work, rules for outputs of publication activity.

These lecture blocks are the output of the project Knowledge Faculty for Industrial Practice, ITMS 26110230113. The project is made on the basis of support of the operation programme Education, financed from the European Social fund.
