Slovak University of Technology - Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in cooperation with Siemens invite you to seminar entitled The Siemens Fibersim.
The aim of a seminar is to introduce the FiberSim - software solution for composites design and manufacturing from Siemens company. Fibersim is a comprehensive tool that addresses the entire composites engineering process - from conception, laminate definition, and ply creation through simulation, documentation, and manufacturing. In integration with leading CAD/CAE/CAM systems it enables to optimize composite part design and methods of fibre reinforcement layering, prediction of crack propagation in composite materials or prepare computation model with specific anisotropic material data for more accurate CAE analyses. Also the automated creation of production data and other unique and complex design and manufacturing methodologies necessary to engineer innovative, durable, and lightweight composite products and parts.
Seminar will be held on Wednesday 25. March 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the premises of the Institute of Materials Science (showroom T202). The presentation will be led by Mr. Alexander Sztatecsny from Siemens.
