JOB DAY 2014 - Invitation
We invite you to the second annual "Job Day." The aim of the event is to provide a possibility for finding information about companies on the labour market for our future graduates and potential applicants for employment. The event will help facilitate conditions for real communication between applicants and students on one side and employers on the other side.
Students of the IInd study grade will have a dean’s holiday from 8.00a.m to 3.30p.m. on 12.3.2014 to be able to participate in particular presentations.
We hope that you will participate and maybe you will find your first real job!.....:-)
The main aims and characteristics of the event:
- To provide a possibility for acquisition of information about companies on the labour market to future faculty graduates and potential applicants for a job
- To create conditions for real communication between applicants and students on one side and employers on the other side
Other aims:
- To provide information on how to apply for a job in an active way
- To point out the negatives which can occur during job interviews that do not support the success of an applicant on the labour market
Target group:
- Students of the engineering study grade at MTF STU.
- Students of PhD study at MTF STU.

Participating companies will prepare a comprehensive “Job Day package.”
The Job Day package contains:
- Presentation by the company - 20-30 min., also with accessories (data projector, notebook) in the faculty lecture hall
- A table with accessories to present their products in entrance hall
- 2 Annual Reports 2011
- Advertisement materials with the faculty logo
Programme of the event:
During the Job Day the registered companies will have 30 minute presentations in the lecture hall Room 084 and Room 086 on Paulínska Street at MTF, according to the planned programme.
During the whole event (approximately from 8.00a.m.-3.00p.m.) companies will have table space in the faculty entrance hall where representatives of companies will be ready to answer the questions of students and employees or to provide samples of their production.
- 8.45 a.m.- 9.00 a.m. opening of the event – the dean Dr. h. c. Prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravčík
- from 9.10 a.m.- 3.00 p.m. presentations of companies
