On the 10th
of November 2010, the Institute
of Industrial Engineering,
Management and Quality held a lecture by Ing. Krzysztof Witkowski, PhD. on the topic of "Logistics System in Economy".
Ing. Krzysztof Witkowski, PhD.
with the students had the opportunity to become acquainted with Ing Sebastian Saniuk, PhD. from the university Zelenaj Hora
in Poland,
who introduced them to the "Theory of Constrains in Production
Logistics." Student had the opportunity to try this particular case and
simulated constraints arising in the process to monitor progress and the impact
on production output.
Furthermore, they were offered stimulating ideas for further quality
cooperation. They introduced their Alma Mater "University Zelena Hora" and provide the opportunity for
further cooperation in exchange of teaching staff and students on the basis of
the Erasmus program until 2013.
