the geology of this place, the wildlife and the history of the mining in the
forests." We are looking for more sponsors who are willing to help us
successfully complete what we have planned" added Mr Lacny.
The Botanical Garden in Trnava will receive more than 6,500 euros. Zealots who
care about the development, with this money, will be able to get the remaining
rubble off the pit and they will build sidewalks to the trees. Miesto will be enriched
with one special tree and the faculty that owns the garden will allow regular
opening hours to the public. "The grant will help us alot," said
Kristina Gerulová joyously, she is from the Faculty of Materials Science and
Technology. She also added that the work will start in September after the
holidays.
The project Zlepsime SPPoločne Slovensko was announced by the Slovak Gas
Industry, SPP Foundation and EkoFond. A total of 320 thousand euros was
distributed amongst the non-business groups.
There were 700 projects that competed for the money, the public voted for 240
