On the 15th April 2013, at the MTF STU, in the Institute of Applied Informatics, Automation and Mathematics, a meeting with representatives of the faculty was held with Prof. E. BABULAK, D.Sc., Ph.D., FRSA, FBCS. Prof. Babulak is responsible for foreign affairs at the College of Information and Communication Engineering SUNG KYUN KWAN UNIVERSITY (SKKU), Suwon, Korea. The MTF was represented by the Vice-Dean doc. Ing. Schreiber, CSc., Director of UIAM doc. Ing. Tanuška, PhD., doc. Vrábeľ and doc. Božek.
Representatives of both institutions presented their faculties and universities at the beginning of the meeting. The core topic of the discussion was the possibility of cooperation between the SKKU and the MTF STU regarding the exchange of students and lecturers, as well as opportunities for collaborative scientific research projects. Both agreed on a joint participation in the EUREKA project, which involves cooperation between the EU and Korea in the field of information and communication technologies, with a possible extension to other areas.
