On the 12th January 2012 at the Institute of Production Technologies, the final defence of VEGA project "Special methods of metallurgical bonding of difficult weldable materials and their application in the production of new materials with high technical parameters". The lead investigator was Prof. Ing. Milan Turna, CSc. IWE.
The Chairman of the defence board was Prof. Ing. Milan Marônek, PhD., the member was Prof. Ing. Ernest Gondar, PhD. and the opponent was Prof. Ing. Jan Suchanek, CSc. (FC CVUT Prague)
During the same day, the final defense of the international project of applied research "Multivariate optimization of metal spinning processes - research and development", the solution under the leadership of Prof. Ing. Peter Sugar, CSc. The opponent, proceedings were under the leadership of Vice-Dean, Prof. Ing. Peter Grgač, PhD., the research team members attended the Institute of manufacturing Technology and the Institute of Materials, representatives of the local academic departments (FME TU Košice, FME University of Žilina), as well as representatives of the practice (firm Sandrik 1895, Ltd. ro-Hodruša Hamre and Eiben, et al. Ltd., in Vlkanová). At the meeting the evaluation of the results and the future research at the Institute of production technologies was discussed.
