On the 15th of February, the detached workplace (DP) in Komarno held a promotional event "Open Day" for high school students and those interested in university studies from the region of Komarno, it was prepared by a team of employees led by Ing. Peter Szabo, PhD. The event was honored by the presence of the Vice Dean of the Faculty doc. Ing. Helena Vidova, PhD., Prof. Ing. Jozef Sablik, CSc. and the Vice Mayor of Komárno Ing. Béla Szabó. Visitors received detailed information about the admission process and attended interesting lectures by: Ing. Zuzana Lutišanová, Ing. Juraj Sztankay, CSc., Ing. Peter. Pinke, CSc., Ing. Ladislav Morovič, PhD. and Ing. Ivan Buranský, PhD. The lectures were related to an educational profile and addressed scientific research tasks of the faculty. The smooth running of the event and was due to the worthy contributions of colleagues other colleagues from DP- PaedDr. Lilla Kremžárová, PhD., Ing. Juraj Czifra, PhD. and Ing. Jozef Nemeth. The action was of considerable interest to the secondary school pupils. We believe that the event has, through its promotional events has encouraged for candidates to study in the academic year 2012-2013.
