On the 23rd of January 2009 , the
third year of the event known as "Open Day" took place for candidates who want to study at the
faculty of materials science and technology in Bratislava with the residence in
Trnava. The representatives of departments provided candidates from secondary
schools information about accredited degree programs at the faculty and
material-technical equipment of individual institutions at the FMST.
Candidates were given the opportunity to visit specialized
laboratories at the institutes of
materials, manufacturing technologies, production systems, applied mechanics
and environmental and safety engineering.
Approximately 400 secondary school students from Trnava
and the nearby surroundings participated.
