Dear sports friends, athletes, dear colleagues,
We wish to inform you that the Department of Physical Education and Sports (ÚIPH MTF STU) in Trnava in cooperation with the Town of Trnava and the Trnava Autonomous Region will hold this year on the 16th October 2011 (Sunday) a XXXVI. Annual event of the Small Carpathian Marathon (MKM). A co-part of this event is also the XVIII. Annual Championship of the Slovak Republic University student marathon. The marathon route starts from Trnava and goes through Suchá nad Parnou, Horné Orešany, Smolenice, Lošonec, Dolné Orešany a Košolná and finishes in front of the students‘ hostel of M. Uher in Trnava.
We have currently registered approximately 7,000 from 6 countries. The Organizing Committee of the STU in Trnava is looking forward to your active participation and also to the participation of the fans. We hope the XXXVI. annual MKM will be of benefit to the residents the sports events of the Trnava region and its surroundings.
