MTF STU bol tento rok medzi ocenenými profesormi Slovenskej technickej
univerzity prof. Ing. Alexander Čaus, DrSc. pôsobiaci na Ústave
výrobných technológií Materiálovotechnologickej fakulty STU. By the proposal of the FMST SUT, prof. Ing. Alexander Caus, DrSc. was among the awarded professors of the Slovak University of Technology who works at the Institute of Production Technologies at the faculty. Research activities of prof. Čaus aims to cast foundry manufacturing technology tools, technological processes of vaccination and modification of high-speed and tool steels, heat and chemical heat treatment of tool materials as well as tribological aspects of tools exploitation, manufactured by foundry technology. In these fields he is considered as a renowned expert who has influenced the development of the branch called Technologies of engineering production by the creation a scientific school in the field of reserch related to cast high speed steels and their production technologies. The results of his research activities are published in leading international scientific journals and cited by experts from China, Russia, Brazil, Iran and Japan. He holds a SR patent and several certificates of the USSR.
Prof. Ing. Alexander Caus, DrSc. has been recognized at home and abroad and has significantly contributed to the benefit of the Slovak Republic.
The management of the faculty warmly congratulates and wishes him many successful years in the field of science, research and pedagogical activities at the SUT.
