The ceremonial meeting of the Scientific Council of the STU and the scientific boards of the faculties, on the 25.06.2012 , according to the proposal made by the MTF and after approval by the Scientific board of the STU- Professor Dr.-Ing. habil. Jürgen Eckert from our partner Research Institute - IFW Dresden, was honored with the highest esteem and appreciation of our university - an honorary title of Doctor honoris causa. The ceremonial meeting of the scientific boards was held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Slovak Technical University.
