The series of lectures "Ion Beam Research in Materials Science" took place last week on 26 - 30 May 2008 at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology. The lecturer was prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Dr. h. c. mult. Klaus Wetzig from IFW Dresden. On 29 May 2008, he was also hosted by the dean of MTF STU, prof. Dr. Ing. Oliver Moravčík.
