Study program: material engineering

Students from the second year of full-time study, study program- material engineering, should have completed the subject of Professional Experience (within 2 weeks) within the selected company, focused on the production, processing, inspection or design of metal or non-metallic materials. Students have until 13. 03. 2010 to report the possibility of receiving a placement for professional experience. Report to Ing. Katarina Štibraná, UMAT, door no. 215. Those students who do not find the opportunity to undergo the practice in a company, will receive their experience in the laboratories of UMAT.
Students who are studying - combined method,  can  receive professional practice from the company they are working for, please bring confirmation of this.  Students studying in the daily combined method who are currently unemployed may receive experience in the same way as full time students.

The date for the completion of practice is 31. 08. 2010. Credit for the course will be awarded on the basis of written confirmation of attendance to the practice and must be submitted to the secretary of UMAT, door no. T219, T Pavilion, no later than 03.09.2010

Study Program: Applied Informatics and Automation in Industry

In order to receive credit in a mandatory subject of professional experience within the 2 weeks, students of the program AIA must let Ing  Juráková (from the UIAM) know by the 15^th of  February 2010 - 31^st of March 2010, whether they want to obtain this practice with an external company or from the UIAM laboratories. Students should send confirmation in a typed / printed format. According to the chosen type of practice, the following conditions must be met:

 

Study program: Health and Safety at work

In order for a student to obtain credit, one of the following two conditions, according to the place of practice, must be met. :

1. If the practice is with an external organization the following must be sent to us.

• Confirmation (including stamp and signature of competent person and his title) about the two weeks of work experience (10 days).

• A report from the practice - at least 10 pages.

• Questionnaire, a single document for students studying in the daily combination method.

2. Students will have performed professional activities within these dates

 15. 2. 2010 - 27. 8. 2010 at UBEI and within a similar amount of time as the full-time students

• A report from the practice - at least 10 pages.

All students are required to submit a declaration of their choice of practice,( external or UBEI ) in writing by the 15. 3. 2010  to Ing. Richard Kuracina, PhD. (TL 323a). In the case of practice for the student at the UBEI, a supervisor will be assigned to the students from within the department, the supervisor will assign the tasks and also give confirmation of completion.

Study program: Quality of production.

Subject: PRAX04-6B Professional experience
The duration of professional practice: 2 weeks

Completion: credit

Date of completion of professional experience: 31. 8. 2010

Re: Work experience will be completed after the examination period, ie, after the 4.7 .2010, in the summer months.

Method of completion:

Students find themselves a company.

Length of practice is two weeks (10 working days).

Students have until the end of the semester week to report which company they will work for, report this to - Ing. Martha Kucerova, PhD.

To obtain credit the following is necessary:

By the 31.8.2010 - submit all necessary documents to - Associate Professor Ing. Iveta Paulova, PhD., in order to obtain credit:

• Confirmation (including a stamp and a signature by the authorised person) in the relevant practice.

• A prepared report (on the job description of the practice (developed by students), which will focus on analyzing the application of quality management in this company, ranging from 5 to 7 pages)

• Daily practice, signed by an authorised person (the diary of the practice should include the records of the activities in the practice).

The aim is to know the issues of the professional practice in the field of quality management and the level of implementation within the organization (involvement in activities related to activities in the field of quality management, including statistical methods, etc.).

Study program: industrial management.

Subject: PRAXO4-6B Professional experience.
The duration of professional practice: 2 weeks

Date for completion of professional experience: 31. 8. 2010

Re: Work experience will be realized after the examination period, ie, after 4.7 .2010, in the summer months.

Method of realization:

Conditions for full time students. :

Students will find a company by themselves were they will work. Students have to choose the company  in the field of Production, or a company that provides this service. Send evidence of this by the 21^st of May 2010 to Ing Juraj Drahňovskému. 

Conditions for students of the daily combined method:

For students who are in full time employment- please bring a letter from your employer confirming your work and you will automatically be assigned credit.
If a student is unemployed, the same conditions for full time students will be applied.

To obtain credit, the following  is necessary:

• Bring , by the  10. 9. 2010 to  Ing. Juraj Drahňovskému, confirmation from the company stating the completion of your professional practice,

• also please bring a prepared report about your professional work (diary) and also hand this to   Ing. Juraj Drahňovskému.

Study program: Manufacturing Equipment and Systems.

Students of this study program have to complete, during the summer semester of their second year, their  Professional experience (PRAX02-6B) in the manufacturing sector within the period of 2 weeks (according to the study plan of the academic year 2009/2010).
According to the study harmonogram in the academic year of 2009/2010 students must attend  compulsory work experience within a manufacturing company during the summer holidays (from 5. 7. 2010 to 31 8. 2010).
Professional experience must be found individually, and sent by the 3 .9. 2010, bring confirmation about the completion of the practice on the prescibed form to the Department of Technological Devices and Systems (UVSM) in order to receive credit.
If the student is unable to provide the required professional experience by 25. 6. 2010 then they must report this to a guarantor and the student will work at UVSM / KTZS

 from  6. 7. 2010 to 20 .7. 2010.

Study program: Computer Aided Manufacturing technologies, manufacturing technologies.

In order to obtain credit for the completion of the professional practice the students must bring confirmation of their practice in the second summer semester year. In special cases the student may attend the practice at the institute of the UVTE , if allowed by the head of the institute. The student will only receive credit when proof of completion is presented.

Credits from the study program of  Computer Aided Manufacturing technologies will be granted by Ing. Peter Pokorny, PhD. from the department of machining and assembly at the UVTE. Credits for students of the study program Manufacturing Technologies, will be granted by the leaders of the technology departments.

Credits will be entered between the following periods, (21. 6.2010 to 2.7. 2010). The specific dates and times will be declared by the teacher who is responsible for entering the credits and these will be published.

Study program: teaching practical courses in technical fields, personnel work in an industrial company.

• It  is possible to do your practice within a company that is close to were you live, in a company dealing with production, business activity or  a  project activity in a related field.

• The duration of practice is 10 working days.

• Experience must be completed and written by  31. 8. 2010

• It is necessary to bring your report (in accordance with the instructions) about the practice so that credit can be granted.
