On the 8th of November 2011 in the premises of the PRVA ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. at Kopčianska street in Bratislava during the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia 2011, the traditional Scientific research, Welding Technology 2011 - EU industry technology development took place. The organizers were the company ZVÁRAČSKÁ , a.s., STU BRATISLAVA (MTF, FEI, SJF), MEDZINÁRODNÉ LASEROVÉ CENTRUM a TRUMPF SLOVAKIA, s. r. o.
Participants in this year's seminar acquainted themselves with the laser center of PRVA ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. which added a high-end disk laser of the latest generation with an 8 kW performance- TruDisk 8002 by the company called TRUMPF.
As every year, and also in this year, the seminar was the place of many interesting contributions of welding specialists’ presentations and this allows one to present the results of scientific works of young doctoral students. The seminar had 13 contributions designed to present the results of the R & D projects which run with the support of APVVD (Agency for Research and Development) in the high-tech welding technology.
