On the 8th of November 2011 in the premises of the PRVA ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. Kopčianska Street in Bratislava, during the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia 2011, the traditional scientific seminar of Welding Technology 2011 – technology of EU industrial development took place. The event was organized by the following companies : PRVA ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s., STU Bratislava (MTF, FEI, SjF), MEDZINÁRODNÉ LASEROVÉ CENTRUM and TRUMPF SLOVAKIA, s. r. o.
Participants in this year's seminar acquainted themselves with the laser centre of PRVA ZVÁRAČSKÁ, a. s. which added a high-end disk laser of the latest generation- TruDisk 8002 TRUMPF, with a power rating of 8 kW. As usual, the seminar had many interesting contributions of welding professionals and presented the results of the scientific works of young doctoral students. The seminar had 13 contributions designed to present the results of the R & D projects which run with the support of APVV (Agency for the support of research and development) in the field of high-tech welding technologies.
