On the
30th of November 2010 at the MTF SUT in Trnava
a seminar called "70 YEARS OF WORKING FOR SUT" took place,
this involved the staff, doctoral students and the second year engineering
study program organized by the machining and assembly line UVTE MTF. The
seminar lecturer was Prof. Ing. Ivan Baranek, PhD. who pointed out the
fundamental milestones in the history of the SUT relating to research and
teaching of machining at the SUT. Seventeen years of work within this area were
mentioned together with the experts in the field.
On this occasion,
the first Associate Dean of the FMST SUT- Dr. Ing. Jozef Peterka on behalf of the SUT's Rector and the Dean of the FMST SUT gave
Prof. Ing. Janáč Alexander, CSc. a decree granting the honorary title
of Professor Emeritus.
