On the 1st of December 2009 in room T-32, a workshop on the topic of "Streamlining the production of forging tools" took place. The organizer of the seminar was the Cathedra of forming from the UVTE (Department of Manufacturing Technologies). The seminar was attended by staff Smitheries (Metalurg Dubnica a.s. , HKS Forge Trnava Sro and Elba Kremnica a.s.), students, doctoral students and staff from the UVTE. Approximately 80 participants attended the seminar. The honorary Chairman of the Union of Smitheries in the Czech Republic who is also the Chairman of the editorial magazine called "Forging" - Ing. Ladislav Jilek, CSc. participated in this seminar.
The
seminar had six expert lectures and one
presentation of a simulation program
called "Simufact Forming" from the EC Engineering Company.
