Students of the MTF STU in Trnava on the 09/ 05/ 2011 Inter-University participated in the Inter-University tournament "Cup of UCM Rector". In the Town sports hall a competition with 10 teams from 4 universities were present. Our students from the MTF gradually won all matches in their group and progressed from first place in the semi finals and eventually to the final. The event was marked by a spirit of fair play and a very pleasant atmosphere in the presence of the UCM Rector - Jozefa Matúša, who thanked all for participating in the tournament and invited students to next year’s event. The best players were awarded prizes and the winning team from the MTF received the Cup. We thank the tournament organizers for a nice sports day and we congratulate our students in gaining first place.
