On the 30.11.2011 at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology STU in Trnava, at the Institute of Production Technologies (UVTE), a technical workshop in collaboration with the Automotive Cluster - West Slovakia in the framework of project OP SR - CR Autoplast, project code 22410420007, entitled:
"High-technologies and their use in the manufacturing industry"
At technical workshops were attended by representatives of business entities as well as representatives from a broad academic community. The director of UVTE presented the MTF UVTE. Next, the possibilities for using a technological workplace -oriented at processing plastics for science and research, center of excellence in 5-axis machining and potential uses of 3D scanning for scientific purposes were introduced. The workshop gave space for the introduction of tool firms - the firm Svec and company. Ltd. and the firm HASCO Company Ltd. and at the very end, the Emerson BRANSON division gave a presentation of "Combining polymers with an infrared method." The Technical workshop enriched the presentation by the Director of Autoclaster, with the theme of "Applied development in the automotive industry."
Finally, the participants were shown the center of excellence and 3D scanning work.
