In the indoor swimming pool of the FMST SUT on the 12th and13th of March 2011 the 37th year of the international swimming competition called Grand Prix Trnava took place. There was a traditionally strong interest in race. In 26 disciplines 50 foreign competitors from Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic and 300 swimmers from 20 Slovak divisions and clubs competed.
The main organizer - Department of Physical Education and Sport of UIPH MTF and the swimming club of ASK STU Trnava welcomed in the home pool some excellent swimmers.
From home representatives there were: Pavol Jelenák - the best swimmer - junior of SR for 2010 , European Junior Championships participant.
One of the Gems of the swimming meeting was clearly Květoslav Svoboda - representative of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2008 within the short swimming pool he gained the sixth place, the 2008 Olympic Games participant, Katarzyna Wilk - Representative of Poland, 2008 Olympic Games participant and a multiple Polish rekord holder.
