Department of Applied Informatics, Automation and Mathematics: Information systems for monitoring a batch input via mobile units
Department of Production Systems and Applied Mechanics: Laboratory of flexible manufacturing systems with robotic handling for a paperless environment.

The Operational Program R & D Building Measures 5.1 University
infrastructure and modernization of their internal equipment to improve the
conditions of educational process was presented to the project:
Improving and upgrading the educational
and technical information-communication infrastructure departments STU
As a part of an operating program, R & D 2.2 Transfer of knowledge and
technology from research and development into practice projects were presented:
- Department of
Safety and Environmental Engineering: Hybrid power supply for technical
consultancy and laboratory use to promote renewable energy
- Department of
Production Systems and Applied Mechanics: Laboratory of flexible manufacturing
systems with robotic handling for the paperless environment.
- Department of
Knowledge Management:Center
of Intellectual Property.
In addition to these research activities which were presented, the faculty was
joined in the 7th program, FP7-Diversity
and it‘s programs, faculty profile as an educational and research institution,
exhibits and samples from castings, soldering technology, precision casting
etc.
The faculty exhibition was visited by representatives of various businesses, schools
and representatives of engineering companies and the media.
At the Trade Fair in Brno the Faculty participated as an exhibitor
for the first time. The faculty represented its scientific facilities, the Slovak Technical
University and the region
which it is part of.
