As we did last year, we celebrate the month of March as the Month of the Book. The Academic Library at MTF STU has prepared several events for the Week of Books at MTF STU.
The Week of Slovak libraries announced by the Slovak Association of Libraries in 1999 is regularly held during the last week of March. The aim of this event is to remember the meaning of the book, especially in the time of informatization, modern information technologies and computers. The form is not significant (printed or electronic), but we mark the importance for society and the individual which the book has had in history and nowadays.
