Trial access to the database of ProQuest Dissertations & Theses
(PQDT) until the 31.5.2010
The database contains approximately 2.7 million theses
(masters and doctorates) from around the world since 1861. More than 1.2 million theses are available in
a ‘pdf 'format. Every record since 1980 (Master theses since 1988) contains
an abstract. The annual increment is approximately 70 000 theses that have been
assigned on the basis of cooperation
with more than 700 educational institutions from around the world. More information

During the trial access a
version of the A & I (abstract and index) will be available, which
means that you can browse the results at an abstract level.
Access is set via the IP addresses from the FMST SUT. PQDT may be seen whilst working with the current
ProQuest databases in the search bar as a bookmark labelled "Dissertations."
If you would like to only search in the database PQDT, you can choose your
database using "Database selected" in the upper left corner. Database access is possible either through www.proquest.sk , www.infozdroje.sk web sites or via the virtual library website.
