The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Dean of the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava in accordance with Act. 131/2002 Coll. on universities and amending to certain laws, as amended, are running a selection procedure for filling posts of researchers and technical staff:
University Science Park
1 post for a researcher in the filed of - physics of ion beams
1 post for a researcher in the field of ion implantation using plasma
1 post for a researcher in the field of magnetron sputtering
3 posts for researchers in analyzing materials by use of an ion beam
Qualifications and requirements:
- University education in the fields of physics, chemistry or materials engineering,
- a PhD in the field or related fields,
- scientific-research and publications in the field or related fields,
- active knowledge of English.
4 posts for ion accelerator operators
1 post for an operator of plasma devices
1 post for a magnetron sputtering operator
Qualifications and requirements:
- A Master’s degree with a technical or technological focus,
- practical experience in working with research or development facilities,
- active knowledge of English.
1 post for an electrical / electronics technician
Qualifications and requirements:
- A Master’s degree in electrical engineering or automation,
- practical experience in working with research or development facilities,
- active knowledge of English.
Successful candidates will receive a two-year training period abroad, during which they will gain expertise in the relevant fields. They must also be committed to continue working with the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology STU for a minimum of 5 years.
