On the 12th of September 2008 the MTF STU had a visit by prof. Petru Berce, PhD. - Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Cluj (Romania) and prof. Dr. h.c. Ing. Gyenge Csaba from the Institute of Manufacturing Engineering. On behalf of the Dean prof. Dr. Ing.Oliver Moravčík the foreign guests were accepted by the Faculty’s Vice Dean- prof. Ing. Peter Grgač , CSc. Negotiations were attended by representatives of the Institute of Production Technologies – the Director of the Institute Professor. Ing. Karol Velíšek Karol, CSc and the Deputy Director doc. Ing. Peter Kostal, PhD. The negotiations resulted in an agreement on broadening and deepening the cooperation between the MTF STU and SJF TU in Cluj in the future.
