On 23 February 2026, representatives of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology visited our faculty. The delegation was welcomed by the vice-dean for strategic projects and mobility, Dr. Libor Ďuriška. Following an introductory presentation of our faculty and the Ukrainian university, discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in the fields of science and research, academic mobility (particularly within the Erasmus+ KA171 program), and possibilities for participation in double degree studies.
The program continued with a laboratory tour of the Institute of Materials (Dr. Marián Drienovský, and Dr. Libor Ďuriška), the Institute of Production Technologies (Assoc. Prof. Marcel Kuruc, and Dr. Marián Pavlík), and the Advanced Technologies Research Institute (Bc. Matej Kubiš). The guests had the opportunity to learn more about the research infrastructure, ongoing projects, and the professional focus of the individual departments.
During the meeting, several areas of mutual interest and opportunities for the development of future cooperation between the two institutions were identified.
