Friday
the 11th of December 2009 at the Christmas concert of the
University ensemble named ‘Technician', the Rector of the university Prof. Ing. Vladimir Báleš, DrSc., awarded the competition
winners, SUT Scientist of the year.
The "SUT Scientist of 2009" in the category of "young scientists" was won by Mgr. Andrej Dobrotka, PhD., (who is a research-pedagogic employee of the FMST SUT), for his contribution to the discovery of new stars.
