On the 25th of February 2013 at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava was held, the 5th lecture in the series "Interviews with Practice". The lecture was given by Branislav Hunčík, PhD., CHRO (Chief HR Officer) – Penta Investments, s.r.o., Prague.
The lecture consisted of three parts. In the first part Branislav Hunčík, PhD. explained the issue of key performance indicators and the management process of the company. Valuable information was presented stating that the company should not focus solely on benchmarking key performance indicators, but primarily on strategic key indicators, emphasising the philosophy that it is important to: "Measure what is measurable, and make measurable what is not". A key and important part of the discussion was the interconnection of practice and theory when measuring performance indicators. The second part of the lecture was a practical demonstration of key performance indicators of the company practice. In conclusion was the discussion, where audience had an opportunity to ask questions.
The Institute of Industrial Engineering, Management and Quality will continue the cycle of lectures "Interviews with Practice" with other interesting topic Risk & Change Management, where the invitation speaker will be Anna Hudáková, HR Director CZ & SK MCO Sanofi / President HR Association Slovakia.
