
Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Graduate profile
The study programme Industrial Engineering and Management Systems aims to prepare a complex personality who will be able to flexibly apply themselves in the labour market. The graduate will acquire the knowledge and skills to be able to handle research tasks in key areas of industrial engineering, in order to create innovative processes and products. The degree programme is designed to provide knowledge and develop skills and competences to enable you to contribute to the knowledge base, innovation and the creation of new knowledge and practices.
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
Knowledge:
A graduate:
- has an in-depth theoretical knowledge and methodological basis at a level corresponding to international criteria, enabling him/her to conduct independent research based on the principles of sustainable development, focusing in particular on industrial engineering, design of production and economic management systems and processes,
- has knowledge in key areas of industrial engineering and management systems,
- is familiar with interdisciplinary management practices, challenges and problems in different countries and contexts.
Skills:
A graduate:
- can practically apply knowledge from key areas of industrial engineering,
- can integrate the use of different approaches, tools and methods to solve specific strategic tasks of industrial enterprises,
- can formulate, implement and control key decisions in the context of a new business model based on sustainable socially responsible business, design, validate and implement new research and work practices, work in an interdisciplinary multicultural team and publish the results of scientific work.
Competences
A graduate of the study program has the ability to:
- is able to work on the basis of system sciences not only in industrial sectors, but also in other areas of society, independently conduct research and present its results in scientific forums,
- is able to implement projects using modern formal apparatus, experimental procedures with respect to their professional focus and implement solutions corresponding to the current trends in the development of science and technology in the areas considered.
